VHF Radio Upgrade

We upgraded wideband frequencies to narrowband across the entire NYCT subway network by installing 115 base stations to increase audio bandwidth capacity.

SONET / ATM Network

We installed 757 miles of optic fiber cable and over 467 high bandwidth T1 switches throughout the entire subway station to create the largest fiber network in the world at the time.

  • Power plant integration to feed equipment in over 400+ comm rooms

Public Address / Customer Information Screen

For 100+ subway stations, we installed new speakers and video screens to inform passengers of an approaching train using automated train supervisory data provided from the existing fiber optic network.
