Our Work

Since 2017, our primary work was to upgrade telecommunications and telephone equipment in 8 locations that would allow for higher call capacity among other capabilities. We guided and collaborated with partners who are new to the public sector and idiosyncrasies of NYCT.

In these 8 locations, we also replaced air conditioning equipment, migrated the existing telephone carrier equipment to new equipment with a hybrid of digital and analog interfaces. Universal line access gateway and IP core server were set up. We integrated new fiber switch equipment to an existing connection oriented ethernet (COE) network. With the new switches, we also designed the firewall policies and routing.

To make this happen, we created drawings for the network and system design as well as diode design for a change order that would address an over surge issue with redundant power plants. We also created the implemented the procedure that would allow for the change of the diodes while the power connections would remain live, using HTap equipment to avoid telephone service downtime.

Let's get to work, together.
