Our Work

For the renovations of Astoria-Ditmars Blvd station and 23rd St Station (6th Avenue), our primary work was to remove old telecommunications equipment and cables which we replaced with new public address speakers, customer information screen system and a new closed circuit television (CCTV) system for improved security.

For 23rd Street, we designed the fiber optic network; set up access and application nodes, closed circuit television system (CCTV), public address customer information screens (PACIS) and tested cabinets (SAT/FAT). We connected and tested all speakers and electronic signs. We also designed an audio connection from the southbound platform speakers to the northbound audio integration equipment through an existing dark fiber network in order to bypass PATH track obstructions, a first in the history of the MTA.

For Astoria-Ditmars, we designed the public address customer information screens which informed customers of incoming trains to the station. We worked with Dagnachew Electric and Judlaw Electric to complete these projects.

Let's get to work, together.
